Diaspora.black

Diaspora.black is a social business that was created in order to strengthen Afrotourism and black culture in Brazil, fight racism, and empower black people to travel more and work better in the tourism sector.

Raízes is aligned with Diaspora’s purpose and has had the privilege of building joint agendas. We wrote and proposed a project to empower communities in Belém and the surrounding islands in the run-up to COP30. As part of the prospecting actions and to better shape the proposal, we developed a local listening campaign.

We co-organized the Social Entrepreneurs Meeting of the Folha 2023 Network in São João Del Rey and in 2024 in São Paulo.

Our partners’ knowledge of diversity and inclusion enriches our projects, which is why we invite them to speak at projects such as Tourism Development in the São Domingos Quilombo and Tourism + Sustainability Business Mentoring.
