Being part of a group of people and companies that act with real purpose and, truly, toward a better world has always been one of the goals since Raízes was created. Therefore, it is with great pride that we announce that we are once again on the list of Best for the ™ World ™ B Corps!
Raízes was recognized, for the second consecutive year, for our performance in the area of Clients, which are those we serve, including beneficiaries. The Best for the World ™️ is a recognition granted by B Lab/Sistema B to Certified B Corps that have scored among the top 5% of all B Corps around the world in the B Impact Assessment (BIA) – which today amounts to more than 5,000 companies globally.
The categories evaluated by this global network are Community, Customers, Environment, Governance, and Workers. It is a source of great joy for us here at Raizes that our work to strengthen entrepreneurship as a way to generate autonomy has been recognized once again.

What does it mean to be a B Corp in the Client area?
The businesses recognized with the seal of Best B Corps for the World are those that add value to the lives of the people they favor. Always aiming to balance purpose and profit in equal measure, several aspects are considered, especially the impact of decisions on a company’s workers, customers, suppliers, community and environment.
B Corps in the Client area are those that set a new standard for serving their beneficiaries, as previously stated, by offering products and/or services that support a greater good. Often, they focus on more vulnerable populations, and in the case of Raizes, on women and female empowerment, even though we serve the community as a whole.

2022 has been a very special year for us.
Having recently launched our new visual identity (if you have not seen it yet, you may by clicking here), we at Raizes have renewed our commitment in order to continue planting our seeds, from Itabirito-MG to Carauari-AM, and much more.
We aim to reach even more locations, and be able to share our best practices which resulted in this Best for the World 2022 certificate in the first place.
A title goes far beyond just an award: it is the recognition of more than 15 years of work seeking positive social impact in the projects we operate in, both transforming and being transformed by all the lives that we touch.
