Werter Valentine de Moraes

Werter is CEO at Carpediem Experience Trips, a community-based tourism consulting company which has been customizing itineraries that specialize in traditional population conservation units in several regions of Brazil.

Werter believes he belongs with people who carry their ancestry on their sleeves, like the people of the forest.

Trips to the mountains, the coast, savannas and the Amazon are among his favorite.

Werter is the vice president and a board member of the Baggage Project. He also has projects on Bananal Island in the field of cultural tourism in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program – UNDP.

Werter is a public policies advisor at a municipal level. He also supports the eco-literary route of the Way of the Sertão.

All in all, his professional experience includes work in the states of Santa Catarina, Bahia, Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, and Minas Gerais.

  • Facilitator of Participatory Rapid Diagnostic Methodologies /DRP – SACTES (German Technical and Social Cooperation Service).
  • Researcher of the TBC- Research Network Groups – (UFJF) and Creative Territory Management – (UFV).
