Accelerating Sociobiodiversity Businesses

Raízes was selected by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP Brazil) to develop a Sociobiodiversity Business Acceleration Project with a focus on the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest. Supported by the humanize Institute, the project included a planning phase for the journey, the creation, and launch of a call for business proposals, and the selection and implementation of mentoring.

The 30 businesses selected received collective and individual mentoring, and specific advice, as well as participated in workshops, all in digital format. At the end of an intense 3-month journey, each entrepreneur received a total of 98 hours of content and support.

90% of the businesses (27 ventures) made it to the end and presented their pitches at the showcase event scheduled for the group and guests. All the graduates declared that they had fully or partially achieved their initial objectives.
