Wahnon Guest House
The Wahnon Guesthouse is situated in a region where traditional agriculture is practiced on a large scale and where there has already been a point of sale and production of “grogue”, traditional Caboverdean sugar cane-based drink. Maintaining the colonial architectural style, it was transformed into a Guesthouse in 2011, offering lodging, food, tours and other activities. The project was part of the Rural Villages Route Project of Sato Antão, which had a training stage and also individualized technical assistance. The concept has been created with appreciation of local traditions, quality of service and commercial partnerships.
