Serginho Barbosa

Serginho Barbosa is a singer, performer, and composer, with eight albums released in more than 35 years of his career. His work includes MPB, and other rhythms such as salsa, tango, carnival rhythms, and especially bolero. Serginho was incubated by the Project of Territorial Development and Social Transformation of Itabirito – MG, Vale’s initiative executed by Raízes. Via the process of incubation,   he was able to give new focus to his musical career by positioning himself as a cultural entrepreneur and organizing the management of his business – Voz Companheira Produções. During the pandemic, which had a great impact on the cultural sector, Serginho was able to reshape his musical product, reaching a larger audience through digital platforms. With the application of seed capital, he produced and released a live DVD, with the recording of the show Caminhos and a music video that aimed to bring a  new glow to the audience’s lives post-pandemic.
