Favo de Mel produces 100% natural honey and honey-derived products such as propolis extract, pollen, beeswax candles and soaps. The brand was incubated by the Territorial Development and Social Transformation of Itabirito – MG Project, a Vale’s Initiative, executed by Raízes. Ana, the brand’s beekeeper and entrepreneur, took advantage of the incubation process to professionalize her business and access new markets outside Itabirito. With the application of the seed capital, Ana acquired materials for diversification in production and electronic equipment to enhance the dissemination and commercialization of the brand.
