Ayê Ecoturismo

Ayê Ecoturismo is an operator that began its structuring from the Project when it was in the ideation phase.

The business proposes tours along the Itanhém River, hiking trails with visual access to the local mangroves, Apicum (a transitional biome between mangroves and the Atlantic Forest), the Atlantic Forest and direct access to areas with family agro-ecological production.

The business was structured at Sítio do Empreendedor in partnership with Cardume Turismo, a nautical operator that already operates in the region. Among the interpretive and interactive activities, visitors have the opportunity to choose produce from the garden to be consumed on site and interact with the host family, whose roots lie in Afro-Brazilian ancestry.

One of the 20 businesses taking part in the second edition of the Tourism + Sustainability Project, a partnership between Futuri and Conservation International (CI) Brasil, with execution by Raízes.
