Maria Cavalcanti holds a PhD in Community Psychosociology from UFRJ and a master’s degree from the same institution for her research on Women Entrepreneurs from Maré.
She is a postgraduate student in Cooperation Pedagogy and a trained Social Communicator.
She is a facilitator of participatory processes and a Dragon Dreaming methodology coach.
She works as a social and environmental project manager and helps organizations create collaborative cultures and innovative solutions.
At Raízes, she works as manager of the Territorial Development and Social Transformation project in Barão de Cocais.
