Kaliane has been involved in program and project management for over 10 years, focusing on sustainable territorial development and social justice. Throughout her career, she has collaborated on projects addressing gender equity, tourism, culture, and entrepreneurship, aligned with collective knowledge and well-being. Kaliane is a co-founder of Coletiva CAIANA – the International Antiracist Collective of Care and Self-Care among Women Activists, which is based on listening and supporting women and girls in situations of violence. Moreover, she also founded Margaridas do Silêncio (“Silence Daisies”), an intergenerational exchange project aimed at building and strengthening bonds among women who are victims of Homicide (Violent Lethal Intentional Crime). In recent years, Kaliane has worked as a project analyst in traditional indigenous communities, quilombola communities, and on the outskirts of major metropolitan areas, creating and managing social transformation initiatives. She is passionate about coordinating processes and materializing ideas through the development of transformative practices that allow for the sharing of life experiences and wisdom horizontally and circularly.
