Juliana Gazzinelli

PhD in History, Politics, and Cultural Heritage from CPDOC/Getúlio Vargas Foundation, Rio de Janeiro (2019). Master’s in Built Environment and Sustainable Heritage from the School of Architecture at UFMG (2014), and a Bachelor’s in Tourism and Hotel Management from FUMEC University (2009), Belo Horizonte/MG. For over a decade, Juliana has developed, executed, and coordinated social projects involving vulnerable populations, with a focus on quilombola communities and populations impacted by mining-affected areas. She has coordinated several social business acceleration projects and is currently a postdoctoral research associate at CIES-Iscte in Lisbon, Portugal. Juliana is a member of the Brazilian Historical Society (ANPUH), the Brazilian Association of African Studies, and the ZERO-Sustainable Terrestrial System Association.
