The World Cup is a big event, isn’t it? To welcome it in Brazil on 2014, it was mandatory to provide professional training for tourism entrepreneurs. Therefore, the Project “Professional Bom de Copa” was created by the Ministry of Tourism.
Different actions were implemented on the 12 host cities of the World Cup: Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Cuiabá, Fortaleza, Manaus, Natal, Recife and Salvador. it all happened with the help of IPDE (Institute of Research, Development and Education), with on-site contracting of local consultants and instructors.
The work of the consultants consisted on attracting people interested in bars and restaurants in the capitals involved. It also included the training of these professionals for the use of the digital platform of the course; presencial lessons and motivational work at a distance. Everything with the follow up of the results!
