Restaurante Tempero das Baianas

The Tempero das Baianas Restaurant, located in the Caravelas Fishermen’s Life Center, is a community enterprise.

The initiative is part of a community tourism project promoted by the Association of Residents, Fishermen and Shellfish Harvesters of Barra de Caravelas.

It is managed by women who, in addition to being fisherwomen, are dedicated to gastronomy, offering typical dishes prepared with local ingredients.

It was created to offer tasty dishes at fair prices to the locals, but it has also caught on with visitors.
