Petiscaria Sol e Mar

Petiscaria Sol e Mar, an initiative coordinated by the Barra de Caravelas Fishermen and Shellfish Fishermen’s Association, has emerged as a new Community Based Tourism (CBT) enterprise of the Association, taking advantage of the movement generated by its proximity to the Abrolhos National Park.

Recently installed on Grauça beach, the company promotes income generation in the community by creating jobs, purchasing ingredients from local suppliers and selling local products such as handmade sausages and fruit pulps.
