Instituto Maturembá

The Rota Maturembá project has been underway for seven months and organizes birding experiences through community-based tourism in the villages of the Descobrimento National Park, in Prado.

They disseminate public use in a Conservation Unit, promoting the preservation of species and generating income for the traditional Pataxó community in the village of Gurita.

Throughout the project, they created the Maturembá Institute, significantly maturing the initiative and expanding its scope of action.
